At the start of the year I shared some tips on how I created an Autumn Capsule Wardrobe. I did one through winter too, and I know I’m going to sound like a bit of a drama queen, but using a capsule wardrobe has honestly changed my life. Which is why I’ve made a Spring Capsule Wardrobe too!
Check out my Autumn Capsule Wardrobe here, if you want some tips!
It’s pretty simple. A capsule wardrobe means that you only have a select few items in your closet. BUT each select item is something that you love and that makes you feel and look good.
You only have a small amount of clothing to choose from each day when using a capsule wardrobe, so one of the most important parts is making sure your items can be used in multiple outfits.
Just to give you an idea, I could wear the clothes in my Spring Capsule Wardrobe for 6 months, and wear a different variation on each outfit every single day!
Like I said, check out my other post if you want more info.
I’m going to be up front with you here. I do not go shopping for new clothes every other week. I’m not a style expert. I make my capsule wardrobe based on real clothes that I wear every day, that are going to suit my normal everyday activities. To get the most benefit out of your capsule wardrobe, you should do this too!
Over the next three months of Spring I’ll be sharing how I mix and match each of these items to create stylish and comfortable outfits that I absolutely love for all occasions. Make sure you come back on Mundane Mondays to check out some outfit ideas like:
- Night Out on the Town
- From Play Date to Coffee Date
- Late Night Date Night
- The Errand Runner
- Casual Friday
- Ladies Who Lunch
