Every time we turn on the TV it seems like there’s something terrible going on in the outside world. It can make you pissed off, devastated, and even scared. But the worst part is, it can make us become bogged down in the negatives. Even when we have so much to be grateful for.
I started My Gratitude (b)Log about 3 years ago, and I’ve shared it here on and off throughout that time. The reason I originally started it, is because I was becoming miserable. Don’t get me wrong, I had an amazing life. But I was taking all the little things for granted and only focusing on anything that went wrong. The only way to cure me of this onslaught of sadness and pessimism, was by being more aware and appreciative of all the good that is everywhere around us.
If you have been a reader here for a while, you’d know I used to share MGL on my different social media pages then at the end of the week, share them all in a blog post here.
The new and improved MGL is only going to be on my Instagram. I’m challenging you to share right along with me, 365 days of being grateful. Let’s see if we can find even just one thing to be grateful for every day. It could be as minor as getting the green at the traffic lights when you were in a rush, or thanks for a really meaningful gesture from a friend. If you’re a Mum, it might just be about getting to do a wee without someone watching you.
What do you say? Are you up for the challenge?
Follow me on Instagram and use the hashtag #365gr8fl when you share your gratitude post for the day so I can see it too!
Thanks for stopping by,
