Preface: Um, forgot to schedule this post and I ended up changing it anyways so here’s Monday Meal Planning Madness on Tuesday! Oops!
One of the most important things I can do to help myself get through the School Holidays with a little extra sanity and money in tact is to meal plan.
Having a plan for how we will eat throughout the School Holidays takes all of the drama out of my jam packed days, especially when running low on sleep. It also means I’m not harassed fifty times during the day about what we are eating (they can read the meal plan on the fridge themselves if they wish to!), not to mention not needing to drag them to the shops. Because let’s face it, the grocery store is not kid friendly. It takes three times as long and costs five times as much when taking children (and sometimes husbands).
Monday – Take Away! Because I got busy…
Tuesday – Honey Soy Chicken served with Fried Rice
