Spring is here! And so is the Dyson Cool. This Keep Cool and Stay Fresh series is inspired by the new Dyson Cool – The Air Multiplier that is now 75% quieter, 40% more energy efficient and safer than your average fan.
Infused waters are so easy to make. Next time you’re chopping fruit throw some in a glass, fill with water, and leave in the fridge to chill. It really is that simple.
You can mix and match flavours, and you should definitely experiment to find your favourites! Meanwhile, I’m providing you with some trusty recipes that should get you started, including this Berry Cucumber infused water recipe.
- ½ Cucumber
- 6 Strawberries
- Ice Cubes
- The ice cubes are optional, but I find that having the water extra chilled is the tastiest way
- Slice roughly the same portion of each fruit and place into your container
- Add ice cubes
- Top with water
Your infused water is ready to drink! If you prefer a stronger flavour, infuse the fruit overnight in the fridge, and remove the fruit before serving.
If you leave the fruit in the water too long, it starts to break down and will give the water an unpleasant taste.
I’d leave the fruit in for no longer than 18 hours, but it really depends on how fresh your produce is.
