At least once a week I empty my purse and Aaron’s wallet of all of our receipts. I staple receipts into categories like petrol, groceries, leisure, etc. Then I place them into a plastic envelope in the front of our Household Binder.
At the end of the month I go through all of the receipts to make a tally of our spending and trim a little fat. I hope you’ll join me when I explain in a little more depth about why I collect receipts and how it helps me create a budget next month.
